  • Thank You! From Mr P

I'd like to thank all the students, staff and parents of St Joseph's Primary for their support of my trip to Cambodia to raise money for World Vision Australia. I have now seen first hand the good work World Vision does and can say they money donated is well spent and greatly appreciated by the local communities. If you'd still like to sponosor my ride its not to late or check out my Cycle Cambodia Blog from the trip.

From the Principal

We reflect back on this term and are very grateful for the many opportunities provided for the students both inside and outside the classroom. We have achieved much and delighted in many extra-curricular activities. There have been camps and excursions that have enhance student learning and visiting schools sharing their knowledge. We have celebrated many liturgies in proclaiming our faith and our Mini Vinnies students have worked tirelessly in service of the broader community. Some weeks were real features for us, such as, Book Week and Literacy and Numeracy Week. Most definitely the highlight for the term was of course our school concert where every child had the opportunity to shine. I thank all staff for their dedication throughout the term; the students for their commitment to learning as well as the many volunteers who assist us on a day to day basis. Those parents who assist in the canteen, library and within the classrooms are an asset to our school. I wish everyone a restful break and look forward to our final term for 2014.
